RAND CHORTKOFF
With over twenty years experience in music production and promotion, Rand Chortkoff is widely recognized as a vital member of the West Coast entertainment community. His wide-ranging expertise covers every aspect of the entertainment business, including creating a unique and innovative approach to film financing and production, promoting and producing music festivals, producing award-winning records, and even stretching his own considerable creative muscles as a song writer and performer.
Chortkoff’s company, Delta Groove Productions, secured funding to facilitate the production of seven independent feature films over the last six years. Delta Groove also specializes in the production of movie soundtracks, music licensing, music publishing, and marketing services.
Delta Groove Productions has also produced and promoted hundreds of successful live concerts. For a decade Chortkoff produced the annual Blues Hall of Fame Festival in Los Angeles, which showcased many legendary artists from the pages of American music history. He has also produced a number of highly acclaimed recordings, earning accolades from blues and roots music aficionados around the world.
Chortkoff’s Delta Groove Productions is involved with recording and marketing the traditional blues Chortkoff loves. A new subsidiary label, Eclecto Groove, is branching out into a wide range of roots-related musical styles, with an eye towards discovering young artists who are honoring traditions while building on them for today’s music fan.
Rand Chortkoff has recently brought on board entertainment industry veteran Robert Fitzpatrick as the President of Delta Groove Music and Eclecto Groove Records. Fitzpatrick has been well-known and highly respected within the music industry since the 1960s, when he was The Beatles' attorney; he also represented such high-profile artists as The Rolling Stones, The Who, and as a partner with entertainment mogul Robert Stigwood in the firm Stigwood Fitzpatrick, Inc., managed such groups as Cream and The Bee Gees, as well as actor Don Johnson and many others. Fitzpatrick's wide-ranging experience in the entertainment field also includes acting, from off-Broadway stage work through film appearances with stars such as James Stewart, Tony Curtis and Debbie Reynolds. He has also produced for the stage and television, and worked on the soundtracks for films such as "Pulp Fiction", "Remember The Titans" and "The 51st State". Prior to joining the Delta Groove family of companies, Fitzpatrick was President and CEO of Vista Ave Entertainment Group, a multi faceted film and music company, RFO Entertainment, a management and production company, and The Robert Fitzpatrick Organization. |
